Who is Council #12899?

Chartered on January 1, 2001, the Knights of Columbus Council #12899, is the local council associated with Holy Redeemer Catholic Parish located in Vancouver, Washington and are part of the Knights of Columbus Washington State Council. With over 160 members in our council, we participate in local events at our Parish, in our community and support the needs of our members, families and the broader community. Our business meetings are on the 1st Tuesday of each month.

Who are the Knights of Columbus?

The Knights of Columbus is a global Catholic fraternal organization founded in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney in New Haven, Connecticut. Its mission is to promote charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism while upholding and defending the Catholic faith. It is the world's largest Catholic family fraternal service organization with 1.6 million members. Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to practicing Catholic men in union with the Holy See, who are at least 18-years old. A practicing Catholic is one who lives up to the Commandments of God and the precepts of the Church.
